Metabolic Syndrome
Metabolic syndrome is a group of conditions that increase the risk of heart disease, diabetes, and stroke. These conditions include high blood pressure, high blood sugar, excess body fat around the waist, and abnormal cholesterol levels. A healthy diet is an important part of managing and preventing metabolic syndrome. We can work together to make sustainable diet and lifestyle changes that can prevent the development of metabolic syndrome and/or the progression from metabolic syndrome into a cardiometabolic disease (such as diabetes).

Managing Celiac Disease (or Non-Celiac Gluten Sensitivity)
Individuals with celiac disease must follow a strict gluten free diet. As a registered dietitian with celiac disease (diagnosed in 2015), I can help you navigate the challenges of grocery shopping, eating at restaurants, and preparing food safely.

Cross-contamination is a constant concern for those with celiac disease, which can lead to hypervigilance and food fear. These are common struggles for those following a restrictive diet. We can work together to normalize your eating pattern, while continuing to avoid gluten in a healthy way.
